Golden State Aesthetics was founded in 2011 with a straightforward belief: that every Californian deserves access to a genuinely qualified surgeon, a truly safe environment, and honest guidance — without the pressure, the hidden costs, or the polished sales pitch that had become all too common in cosmetic surgery. From the very beginning, that meant building the practice around one non-negotiable standard. Our lead surgeon is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the only certification body recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties for plastic surgery. That distinction matters more than most people realize. Many surgeons market themselves as "board-certified" using credentials from boards that require little to no surgical training. ABPS certification requires years of accredited residency, rigorous written and oral examinations, and an ongoing commitment to patient safety. It is, simply put, the real thing.

From those early days, we also understood that a qualified surgeon is only part of the equation. The facility where your procedure takes place matters just as much. That is why every Golden State Aesthetics location is equipped with fully accredited in-house surgical suites that meet the same safety standards you would expect from a hospital setting.
